Baan Suan Plants is a new adventure for Somsri. Its goal is to sell the tropical plants and house plants at the most affordable prices via mail order from its base in South Florida.

Somsri has always loved plants and the outdoors. Growing up in rural Thailand in a family of plantation and rice farmers she has been around tropical plants and been involved in plant cultivation for a large portion of her life.

Moving to the Cayman Islands in 2006, she continued with that love and she began to grow and sell Desert Roses and other similar plants to the local market that were in demand in that market whilst bringing up two young children.

After moving to South Florida in 2014, Somsri focused on her family and left the plant business behind and took up photography.

During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic after a period of reflection and a period of illness, she turned back to her love of plants to help with her rehabilitation and began to buy, cultivate and sell plants on various local market places and branching out into Facebook groups.

After seeing success and a clear market for what she loves she decided to set up Baan Suan Plants (Thai for House Garden Plants) and bring that love to the rest of the USA.

Somsri now sells her plants that she grows at her private home nursery at her South Florida home to the lucky customers of the USA via her new www.baansuanplants.com website. Those customer that make a purchase will get to own something that she has dedicated her time, energy and love to
